RemX is hiring a Contract Recruiter to support large-scale hiring efforts within a manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-volume setting and enjoys partnering closely with hiring leaders and external recruiting partners to keep the hiring process moving smoothly.
Richmond, VA (Onsite Only)
$45–$50/hour
Monday–Friday | Standard Business Hours
Responsibilities:
- Oversee a steady flow of hourly manufacturing openings, managing each step from initial intake to final offer
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define role requirements, sourcing approaches, and interview structure
- Actively source candidates using job boards, social platforms, referrals, and community outreach efforts
- Screen applicants, coordinate interviews, and support hiring decisions and offer process
- Partner with internal coordinators and external recruiting partners to ensure timely scheduling and onboarding steps
- Monitor recruiting activity and provide updates on hiring progress and pipeline health
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of recruiting experience, including significant exposure to high-volume hourly hiring (manufacturing preferred)
- Strong ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities at once
- Experience owning the hiring lifecycle from intake through candidate start
- Comfortable working within applicant tracking systems and standard office tools
- Clear communicator who can build strong working relationships with both candidates and hiring teams
- Detail-focused, with the ability to handle sensitive information responsibly
- Proactive mindset with a focus on identifying ways to improve recruiting processes
