Human Resources Assistant
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Human Resources Assistant in Alexandria, VA. Summary: We are seeking a professional and dependable Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations and serve as the first point of contact for visitors, employees, and callers. This position is responsible for managing the front desk, answering and directing incoming calls, and providing a variety of administrative support functions to ensure efficient office operations. The schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the front desk and reception area
- Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls to the appropriate departments or individuals
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
- Maintain office supply inventory and coordinate replenishment as needed
- Schedule meetings, conference rooms, and appointments
- Assist with data entry, document preparation, filing, scanning, and record maintenance
- Support administrative projects and special assignments as requested
- Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems
- Assist with employee and visitor check in procedures
- Ensure reception and common areas remain organized and professional
- Provide general administrative support to various departments and leadership teams
- 3-5 years of in-office admin experience
- MS Office experience
- Experience answering phones, emails and managing a front desk
