Visitor Services Technicians - VA Museum of the Civil War - New Market
The Virginia Museum of the Civil War at the New Market Battlefield State Historical Park (Shenandoah County), is accepting applications for part-time Weekend Visitor Services Technicians. Duties include orienting visitors, operating a cash register/credit card terminal and customer service. Hours: 8:45 a.m. – 5:15 p.m., Hours worked as needed by management.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Requires interest in history & strong communications skills.
- Enthusiasm for working with the public.
- Basic computer skills.
- Familiarity with the POS system.
- Neat business like appearance.
Additional Considerations:
- Experience in retail sales.
- Poise, reliability & friendly, professional manner.
- Proven experience with customer service.
