Assistant Prop Master

Responsibilities are as follows:
Design and Fabrication:
Assist in the design and the building of Props and Scenery as needed to exceed client expectation. Be creative and wow the client and your coworkers. Create new inventory items for general inventory use and expansion of our offerings to clients.
Inventory Responsibilities:
Assist in maintaining a 25,000 sq ft warehouse complex for peak company efficiency. Maintain proper location for equipment in alphanumeric shelving system. Help with proper location for equipment in digital organizational system, repairs and maintain props and scenery for rental, tracking all equipment going and coming into warehouse with digital CRM system, and keeping warehouse clean.
Event Responsibilities:
Accurately pull, prep, and prepare equipment from printed CRM pick list reports. Load event orders in a manner to protect equipment from damage going and coming to and from events. Build and maintain shipping boxes, socks and covers as needed. Drive, manage and participate in installations.
General Requirements:
-4 year college degree required
-MUST have a minimum 5 years management experience or equivalent in Inventory Management, or as a Prop Master
-Must have physical ability to lift and manipulate 50-75 pounds for loading of trucks and storing to shelves. Materials handling equipment such as hand cart and dollies are available
-Must be ability to walk or stand for long periods of time. Load in days can be long at times
-Exceptional time management and organizational skills
-Must be able to work nights, weekends, travel out of town for overnight event (approximately 10 - 15 times a year, expenses paid) and respond to event schedule based on clients needs
-Full set of fabrication skills including carpentry, foam carving, basic wiring, and more
