Elyse is a 30-seat modern fine-dining restaurant in the heart of Fairfax, offering a refined Six Course tasting menu experience that highlights seasonality, craftsmanship, and the art of hospitality. Led by Chef Owner Jon Krinn and our passionate team, we curate each service with intention—where every detail, from the ingredients to the guest experience, reflects a deep respect for excellence.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a polished, professional Server to join our Front-of-House team. The ideal candidate is poised, knowledgeable, and attentive, with a genuine passion for food, wine, and guest connection. At Elyse, service is more than presentation—it’s an extension of the story we tell each evening.
Responsibilities:
Guide guests through our tasting menu, describing dishes and pairings with accuracy and enthusiasm.
Collaborate with the kitchen and Sommelier to ensure seamless pacing and communication.
Maintain polished table presentation, timing, and professionalism throughout service.
Uphold Elyse’s hospitality standards and contribute to a graceful, team-oriented environment.
Qualifications:
Previous fine dining or tasting-menu service experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of wine, pairings, and modern cuisine.
Warm, confident, and professional demeanor.
Availability for evening and weekend shifts.
A genuine desire to create memorable guest experiences.
Compensation:
$2.13 / hour plus gratuity. 20% gratuity is added to each check automatically, with additional gratuity optional. Gratuity is pooled equally between the service staff. Expect between $275 and $350 per shift but not guaranteed. Parking is free.
