Assistant Service Coordinator
Tidewater Roofing and our sister company Carefree Gutter Guard are committed to delivering exceptional service to our clients. We are currently seeking an organized and enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic team as an Assistant Service Coordinator. This role is integral to the success of our service department, offering a fast-paced, collaborative work environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, possesses excellent organizational skills, and thrives under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Service Coordinator in scheduling service appointments for technicians and field personnel.
- Handle incoming phone calls, address customer inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate department.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of service appointments, customer information, and job details.
- Perform data entry tasks to update service schedules, customer databases, and job status.
- Monitor and maintain the department's calendar, ensuring efficient and effective scheduling of appointments.
- Compile productivity tracking reports for management.
- Provide administrative support to the service department, such as preparing work orders, invoices, and reports.
- Manage inventory and order supplies necessary for service operations.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and coordinating service requests.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
Compensation
The salary for this full-time position starts at $18.00 per hour , with an expected 40 hours per week.
