• Location: Norfolk, VA (MSC HQ); Primarily contractor site; frequent meetings in Norfolk, VA; travel to CONUS/OCONUS ship visits as required.

Responsibilities

TekSynap is seeking a Senior Assessment & Authorization (A&A) Support Lead to lead Assessment & Authorization (A&A) activities in support of MSC’s Risk Management Framework (RMF) compliance.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience

• Eight (8) –Ten (10) years of experience in A&A and RMF support.
• eMASS proficiency
• Strong RMF expertise.

Certifications

• Navy Qualified Validator (NQV) II certification
• 8570 certification: IAM Level III.

Education

• Bachelor of Art or Bachelor of Science degree. (Preferred in IT, Engineering, or related).

Clearance

• Clearance: Secret.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop RMF artifacts and Authority To Operate (ATO) packages in eMASS.
• Perform site, system, and platform IT validation testing.
• Conduct Mission-Based Cyber Risk Assessments (MBCRAs).
• Coordinate with Navy Security Control Assessor and Navy Qualified Validator (NQV) requirements.
