Room Attendant - Hilton Alexandria Old Town

Hilton Alexandria Old Town is looking for a Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team!

This 252-room property is located on King Street in Alexandria’s vibrant Old Town. King Street Metro Station is across the street, providing easy links to Washington D.C. and Reagan National Airport. The free King Street Trolley stops on our doorstep, and we have rental bikes available to help you explore the neighborhood.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role at a property of a similar size, cleaning experience is needed, and full availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Shift Pattern: AM shift (8am - 5pm), other shifts may be required depending on hotel business needs

Pay Rate: $16.00 / hour

What will I be doing?

As a Room Attendant, you would be responsible for delivering housekeeping items in response to guest requests.

Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Clean guest rooms as assigned, including, but not limited to, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming.
• Change and replenish bed linens, towels and guest amenities, as needed.
• Perform deep cleaning tasks, as needed.
• Stock, maintain and transport housekeeping supply cart on a daily basis.
• Dispose of trash and recyclables.
• Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
• Perform guest turn down service, as needed.
