It’s 12:00 PM on a Tuesday in Williamsburg, VA. You clock in, pull your first work order, and get hands-on with a mix of tractors and trailers. Safety checks come first, then you move into a rhythm of lube, filters, and inspections—inside the cab and out. You keep trucks road-ready and compliant by staying meticulous and efficient.

Schedule & Pay

• Location: Williamsburg, VA
• Shift: Tuesday–Friday, 12:00 PM–8:30 PM; Saturday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
• Pay: $24–$28 per hour, depending on experience

What You’ll Work On

• Follow workplace and vehicle safety procedures at all times.
• Perform preventive maintenance: lube, filter changes, and full inspections, including truck appearance (interior and exterior), and cab-related safety/security checks.
• Tackle basic electrical work: replace starters, alternators, and batteries.
• Handle tire service: tread checks, inflation, rotation, wear assessment, and wheel reconditioning.
• Inspect and replace basic engine components; perform transmission and clutch R&R; service driveline components.
• Remove and replace steering and chassis components.
• Support the team with additional duties as assigned.

What You Bring

• High school diploma/GED equivalent and 2+ years of mechanic experience.
• Personal tool set ready for the job.
• Steel toe boots.
• Valid driver’s license.
