quality control inspector
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team in Richmond, VA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for quality assurance, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality metrics.
- Identify defects and non-conformities, and communicate findings to relevant departments.
- Collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions and improve processes.
- Perform routine audits of quality control processes and procedures.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality standards and testing protocols.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to quality control.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in quality control is a plus.
- Proven experience as a quality control inspector or in a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with quality assurance methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Proficient in using measuring instruments and inspection tools.
