Gastro NP/PA needed in Central Virginia

We are actively seeking a skilled and motivated Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistant to join our Gastroenterology Team in just outside of Charlottesville, VA. This opportunity involves treating patients across the lifespan, from pediatric to geriatric, in a GI outpatient/inpatient setting.

Position Highlights:

·       Shifts: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday through Thursday and Friday is 8a-noon

·       Duties include diagnosing, treatment planning and management of common GI conditions , rounding, admissions and discharges

·       Team-Based Care: You'll work alongside 2 -3 Gastroenterologist and 2 APPs

·       Will be rounding in the hospital once a week Â

·       Patient Load: Average of 14plus per day

·       Weekday schedule with protected admin time.

·       EMR is EPIC

Requirements:

·       Active Virginia and DEA Licenses

·       Gastroenterology experience is essential or the newly hired must have a strong reason for Gastroenterology

·       Ability to think on your feet, manage new patient histories, and give absolute white glove services to patients in your care
