Position Title: Informatica IICS Developer

Location: Onsite - 5 days/week in McLean, VA

Experience Level: 6 - 8 Years

Work Type: 1099/C2C/W2

We are seeking a highly skilled Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) Developer with strong experience in Snowflake and AWS to join our team in McLean, VA. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in designing and implementing high-performance data pipelines, cloud integrations, and data transformations. Experience working within the financial services industry is highly preferred. Knowledge of PySpark is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize Informatica IICS mappings, workflows, and processes to support large-scale data integration and migration needs.
  
• Build scalable and secure data pipelines integrating Snowflake with multiple data sources (structured, semi-structured, and unstructured).
  
• Develop efficient ETL/ELT solutions to ingest, transform, and process data across cloud and on-prem platforms.
  
• Leverage AWS services (S3, Lambda, Glue, EC2, IAM, etc.) to build and manage cloud-enabled solutions.
  
• Ensure data quality, security, and governance for all ingestion and processing workflows.
  
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and data architects to gather requirements and deliver reliable solutions.
  
• Troubleshoot performance issues, optimize SQL queries, and implement best practices for Snowflake performance tuning.
  
• Contribute to automation, CI/CD deployments, and monitoring frameworks to ensure smooth operations in production.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with Informatica IICS (Application Integration, Cloud Data Integration, and API Management).
  
• Strong proficiency with Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse (SQL, data modeling, optimization, and security).
  
• Solid knowledge of AWS ecosystem (S3, Glue, Athena, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM, etc.) and cloud-native architectures.
  
• Expertise in transforming and migrating large-scale datasets across hybrid environments.
  
• Strong SQL coding and debugging skills.
  
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  

Preferred Skills:

• Previous experience working with major financial services institutions.
  
• Knowledge of PySpark for big data processing.
  
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools, Git, and Jenkins.
  
• Familiarity with data governance and metadata management practices.
