Responsibilities:

• Analyzes user/customer needs and functionality; plan and design software systems to adapt to those needs
• Develop new or enhanced sensor processing algorithms to increase reliability, robustness, performance efficiency, automation levels, product quality, and maintainability
• Researches, designs, develops, tests, and modifies enterprise-wide systems and applications software
• Develops documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code
• Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming
• Performs software updates, refinement, testing, and debugging to minimize interruptions
• Performs systems modeling, simulation, and analysis. Designs and develop basic compilers, assemblers, utility programs and operating systems
• Develops software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; and following the software development lifecycle
• Provides inputs for documentation of new or existing programs

Qualifications:

• BA/BS or equivalent, 5+ years of experience
• Active Top Secret clearance required
