Location: The Learning Experience Sterling, VA
Pay: $15$19 per hour
Schedule: MondayFriday | Approximately 2:00 PM3:00 PM The Learning Experience Sterling is seeking a dependable and safety-focused After School Bus Driver to transport children from local elementary schools to our center each afternoon. This position is ideal for someone looking for a short, consistent weekday shift with a supportive childcare team. Safety, reliability, and professionalism are essential in this role. Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport school-aged children from designated schools to our center
- Follow established pickup routes and schedules
- Conduct daily vehicle safety checks before and after each route
- Ensure children are secured properly and follow safety procedures at all times
- Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle
- Communicate professionally with school staff, families, and center leadership
- Follow all Virginia transportation and childcare licensing regulations
- High school diploma or GED required
- Clean driving record for the past 5 years (DMV check required)
- Valid drivers license
- Previous experience driving children preferred
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-oriented
- Ability to meet all Virginia childcare background requirements
