About This Position:
INflow Federal is seeking a Network Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will contribute to the DoD warfighter mission through your passion for technology.

Duties- Handles outage and maintenance tickets servicing more than 20000 users through onsite and remote troubleshooting assistance for layer 1 – 3 issues, hardware installations of new and upgraded routers, switches, COMSEC/TACLANES, McAfee intrusion prevention systems, Aruba wireless controllers, Riverbed Steelhead WANX’s, device configurations and reconfigurations, and LAN/WAN outage recovery.
- This network includes Cisco, Aruba, Brocade, Juniper, Riverbed and McAfee network devices to include Routers, Switches, Access Points, Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Virtual Private Networks (VPN) and WAN Accelerators.
- Troubleshooting outages and resolve network related issues.
- Local element for COMSEC – given briefings on troubleshooting TACLANES, Trained to re-key the TACLANES.
- Install and upgrade network devices and components. This includes switches, routers, and network monitoring devices.
- Expected to understand, implement, and follow processes in accordance with current policies and procedures. Performed escalation and additional tasks as directed.
- Investigate, resolve, documente, and reporte the cause and corrective actions in the Incident Management System for all incidents assigned by the Service Desk.
- Knowledgeable engineer in the field of Ethernet and IP data engineering with 4 plus years’ experience as a Network Technician.
- Position requires a high level of project coordination skills to manage the execution of maintenance activities and network outages.
- Fundamental understanding of the OSI Model is required.
- Experience must include operational support, and configuration of network devices such as servers, routers, switches, associated software tools, and cabling in a large LAN/MAN/BAN/WAN environment.
- Knowledge of network protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP is a Plus.
- Knowledge and experience working with wireless technologies, Virtual Private Networks (VPN), Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), and WAN
- Accelerators and associated technologies is highly desirable.
- You will be part of a Team of Network Technicians and Engineers.
- DoD Secret clearance
- CompTIA Security+ CE
- Must possess a Cisco CCST within 6 months of starting
