CT Technologist Job Details

• Assignment Type: Locum tenens (Travel CT Technologist contract)
• Location: Roanoke, VA (24014) – Virginia healthcare jobs
• Facility Setting: Hospital – Imaging/CT Department
• Start Date: September 2, 2025
• End Date: December 2, 2025
• Duration: 13-week travel assignment
• Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts (Friday – Sunday, 08:00 – 20:00; flexible start between 7am-9am)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,250 - $2,310 per week
• Patient Population: Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics

CT Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience (travel healthcare experience required)
• Active ARRT (R) and ARRT (CT) certifications
• Current BLS certification
• Valid Virginia state license or eligibility for VA temporary authorization (out-of-state CT Techs welcome)
• Experience with Siemens CT equipment required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR/charting system
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Ability to work at least one holiday during the assignment (two during winter holidays)

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures for trauma, acute care, and diverse patient populations
• Operate Siemens CT systems and utilize Epic EMR for accurate documentation
• Prepare and administer contrast media as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including radiology, phlebotomy, and lift teams
• Maintain strict adherence to radiation safety protocols and infection control standards
• Participate in hospital orientation and complete required training modules
• Demonstrate flexibility with shift start times and scheduling needs
