CGI has an immediate need for a Business Analyst to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest customers. This role is located at a client site in Reston, VA. A hybrid working model is acceptable.

Your Future Duties And Responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst to fill hybrid role (3 days onsite in Reston, VA) which involves leveraging advanced data analytics and business process modeling to support financial asset analysis, risk management, and data governance initiatives. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements, develop analytical tools, and support the valuation and modeling of financial instruments. This role also plays a key part in enhancing data governance practices and supporting enterprise-wide data initiatives.
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
Strong experience in requirements analysis and business process modeling
Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and BI tools such as MicroStrategy or Tableau
Solid understanding of relational and dimensional data models
Familiarity with fixed income instruments, mortgage-backed securities (MBS), and risk management principles
Experience with data governance frameworks and tools
Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strong organizational and collaboration skills; able to manage multiple priorities
Experience working in AWS environments is a plus
Knowledge of hedging instruments (e.g., swaps, swaptions) is highly desirable
Certifications such as FRM or CFA are advantageous
4 to 6 years of relevant professional experience
Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Finance, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $85,100.00 - $121,200.00.
