Job Summary
The Safety Documentation Specialist is responsible for developing ISO 45001-required written safety programs and identifying associated training and documentation requirements. These safety programs are designed to be used by front-line leaders and drive safety performance improvements, as well as compliance with relevant regulations.
Job Description
- Write, edit, and finalize ISO 45001-related procedures
- Verify safety documentation aligns with current regulatory standards in the US and Canada, but can be scaled globally
- Partner with EHS, Operations, and legal to write and obtain comments for the draft procedures
- Maintain consistent document control, versioning
Skills Required
- Experience in ISO 45001 procedures, documentation, and technical writing for safety compliance and management system programs
- Strong understanding of the US and Canadian safety regulatory requirements
- Exceptional writing skills
- Ability to translate complex safety regulations into clear, practical instructions for location managers
Education/Training/Certifications
- High School Degree or Equivalent
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to pass drug screen & criminal background check
- Shift Hours: Mon to Fri, 8-hour shift
Pay Rate/Salary
- $35.00/ - $45.00hr. Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors.
