Production Associate/Entry Level Service Technician

Responsibilities:1st Shift - 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday with 30-minute unpaid lunch and two breaks.
Starting Pay $18.19-18.50/hour
Now hiring a Cares Technician for our Springfield, Virginia service center to perform assembly operations as we service our high quality safety products and turnout gear.
In this role you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Inspection, review, and evaluation of safety equipment and may also include turnout gear.
- Perform mechanical assembly of helmets and other safety equipment as required.
- Additional opportunities to learn other tasks as assigned and needed could include:
- Prepare, repair, and conduct alterations of turnout gear.
Experience Required:
- 1 year of industrial stitching experience or related experience
- Able to speak, read, and write in English.
- Mechanical assembly and ability to work with your hands and hand tools.
- Good manual dexterity to perform assembly tasks.
- Basic knowledge of computers or tablets.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Must be willing to work 6:00 - 2:30, Monday - Friday.
- Hep B shot series will be required and provided by Globe.
- NFPA 1851 training will be required and provided by Globe.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in Quality Control and Inspection desired.
- Knowledge of Globe products preferred.
- Bilingual and able to speak English and Spanish.
- Previous stitching/sewing experience.
