When facilities depend on spotless floors and rapid restoration, uptime matters. You’ll be the go‑to expert who diagnoses fast, repairs right, and communicates clearly—earning $23.00–$25.00 per hour plus a monthly bonus.

Core responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical/electrical systems on equipment used across commercial cleaning, restoration, and surface-prep operations.
• Apply meters, gauges, and diagnostic tools; follow troubleshooting guides and manufacturer manuals.
• Create service orders, craft bids, and present estimates to customers.
• Schedule and track appointments using scheduling software; coordinate shop workload with other techs.
• Order parts and collaborate with vendors to keep repairs on schedule.
• Maintain safe, organized bays and ensure proper use and care of shop equipment and tools.
• Contribute to team goals for quality and productivity; assist teammates and take direction from supervisors.

Equipment you’ll tackle

• Basic automotive systems; 2-, 3-, and 4‑cylinder gasoline engines
• Truck mounted carpet cleaning units and portable carpet extractors
• Hard-surface floor cleaning machines and duct cleaning equipment
• Deodorizing units, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers, air movers, and HEPA vacuums

What you bring

• Preferred: 2+ years in any of the following—commercial cleaning/restoration equipment, small engine repair/maintenance, pressure washer repair/maintenance, or automotive repair/maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license; clean driving record with no DUIs or Careless/Reckless driving on MVR in the past 3 years.
• High school diploma or equivalent; ownership of a basic mechanic’s tool set.
• High mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, and efficient diagnostic/problem‑solving skills.
• Safety-first mindset: use safety glasses, hearing protection, and appropriate PPE at all times.
• Ability to complete quality work on time; capable of lifting 50+ lbs. regularly.
• Professional demeanor, clear written and verbal communication, and basic computer proficiency.
• Willingness to work occasional overtime.
• Bonus: Bilingual English/Spanish.

Customer connection

• Communicate status and recommendations in person, by phone, and via email.
• Coordinate service work with other store employees to deliver a smooth customer experience.
