Job Description:
NATO HQ Supreme Allied Command Transformation (NATO SACT) is seeking contract support for the capture, development, architecture, data science and quality assurance of capability requirements and operational analysis necessary to adapt to future threats and explore long-term military strategy to shape how NATO's forces will operate in the future. To support our NATO customer, SimIS Inc seeks a Multi-Domain Operations SME to support NATO Capability Development projects. The candidate will Coordinate and contribute to the activities of the Multi-Domain Implementation Team, across Allied Command Operations (ACO) and the Alliance.

Experience Required:

• A bachelor’s degree in Political Science or Strategic Analysis or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in exercise planning.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in analyzing data.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Minimum of 4 years' demonstrable policy development and strategic planning and analysis experience.
• Minimum of 4 years' demonstrable warfare development-related experience.
• Minimum of 2 years' demonstrable experience in project management.
• Demonstrable experience with international organizations or multinational teams or working in a military or defense environment.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and contribute to the activities of the Multi-Domain Implementation Team, across Allied Command Operations (ACO) and the Alliance.
• Coordinate MDO Implementation through NDPP, SCDP, and DDA alignment within HQ SACT, wider ACT, SHAPE and NATO HQ.
• Coordinate efforts with other directorates within ACT on MDO related activities.
• Liaise with Exercise planners to ensure MDO is an integral part of the wider Exercise program and gather MDO lessons learned from Exercise itself.
• Develop and enhance the synchronization of non-military instruments of power into wargaming and exercises to fully move the Alliance towards being MDO-enabled by 2030.
• Oversee and analyze specific activities within the roadmap to be able to verify the implementation of MDO within the Alliance.
• Liaise with the Strategic Planning Group and Program Management to align capabilities to MDO requirements.
• Coordinate ACT input to NATO HQ and NMA related policy development through close interaction with NATO HQ and ACO/SHAPE.
