MRI Technologist - Evening Shift

Full-Time | Monday – Friday 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

Our Falls Church/Tysons MRI Center features both the GE 3T Premier and the newly added GE 1.5T Artist , giving you access to cutting-edge technology that enhances both patient care and workflow efficiency. Whether your experience is with GE, Siemens, or Philips systems, we value strong MRI fundamentals and provide GE-specific training to help you expand your skills.
What Success Looks Like
In your first 90 days, you will:
- Independently perform routine MRI exams with confidence and accuracy
- Produce high-quality images that meet radiologist expectations with minimal repeats
- Deliver a calm, supportive patient experience during every exam
- Adapt to GE MRI systems and site-specific workflows
- Integrate into a collaborative, fast-paced outpatient imaging team
- Weekday evening schedule that keeps your days flexible
- No weekends, no holidays, and no call
- Work with advanced MRI technology (GE 3T Premier and GE 1.5T Artist)

- Perform routine and specialty MRI exams with accuracy and professionalism
- Deliver high-quality imaging with strong attention to patient safety and comfort
- Operate within MRI safety standards and best practices
- Maintain imaging protocols and ensure accurate documentation in PACS/RIS
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and technologists to provide timely diagnostic services
- Support patients through exams with clear communication and reassurance
- Enjoy MRI and want to work with advanced imaging technology
- Take pride in producing high-quality diagnostic images

- Prefer inpatient or hospital-based environments
- Need a daytime schedule
- Prefer minimal patient interaction
Required
- 6+ months of MRI experience or completion of a formal MRI training program
- ARRT (R) or MRI certification, or ARMRIT certification
- BLS certification
- Experience in outpatient imaging environments
- Familiarity with PACS/RIS systems
