Network Lab Technician
Kforce is immediately adding a full-time Network Lab Technician in support of our industry leading technology development client in Herndon, VA. Our client is seeking candidates who are driven to make positive changes to the way people live and work by creating breakthrough technology solutions. Overview:
- Process inbound and outbound shipments
- Update and maintain lab inventory database (Netbox)
- Install, configure, and maintain; routers, switches, servers, PDU/CDUs, and console servers
- Provide end-user support for device troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution
- Build small to large-scale network topologies for Juniper customers
- Assist users with building and provisioning virtual machine guests in vCenter/ESXi, KVM, & Proxmox environments
- Provide live support & assistance for Sales Engineers during customer presentations
- Bachelor's degree in Network Communications Management or equivalent preferred
- 3 years of field technician or datacenter technician experience is also acceptable
- To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
- Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
