Who we are looking for:

Mango is seeking an experienced Salon Manager that is friendly, motivated, and energetic. The ideal candidate for this position will have a high passion for cultivating relationships with Guests and Team Members, enjoys a fast-paced environment, is problem solving oriented, and demonstrates strong communication skills.

Primary Responsibilities:

• As a leader you are responsible for the exceptional customer service extended to our guests
• Train, coach, and develop staff
• Possess and maintain thorough knowledge of salon services, facilities, processes, and systems
• Maintain working knowledge of Welcome Desk and Reservation Center
• Coordinate Service Floor
• Help Salon Management Team to support and communicate Mango initiatives and programs
• Coordinate staff coverage and Designer Schedules; work with Scheduling Manager for Guest Services/Assistants

Experience/Requirements/Abilities:

• Management experience required; salon experience preferred
• Desire for career growth within the company
• This is a full- time position with the need for flexible scheduling and will include evenings and weekends. Candidates must have flexibility to work in any of our locations
• The candidate must enjoy people and the challenge of building relationships and brand loyalty with our guest by delivering personalized services
• Passion for the industry, positive attitude and professionalism is a must as well the ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team
• Commitment to excellence and high standards
• Excellent written and oral communication, customer service and presentation skills
• Strong organizational, good judgment, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage priorities and work activities and to effectively communicate with salon professionals
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Continually required to walk, utilize hand and finger dexterity, talk or hear
• Occasionally required to sit, to lift/push light weights less than 25 pounds, climb, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl
