Job Summary:
The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) represents the face of a leading diagnostic services organization, welcoming patients for routine or critical lab collections. The PSR II performs skilled phlebotomy and specimen processing , ensuring accuracy, safety, and confidentiality in every interaction. This role demands professionalism, process excellence, and a commitment to outstanding patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily operational tasks accurately and on time under supervisory direction.

• Maintain a safe and professional environment within the patient service center.

• Execute both clinical and forensic specimen collection procedures following established protocols.

• Verify patient identification and labeling to ensure sample accuracy.

• Maintain required records and documentation of all collections.

• Demonstrate organizational commitment and uphold a positive public image.

• Travel and work flexible hours to cover multiple locations as needed.

• Ensure strict adherence to all company policies , health and safety standards, and dress code.

Required Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience , including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.

• Experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.

• Strong customer service background in healthcare or retail environments.

• Keyboard/data entry proficiency.

Nice-to-Have Experience:

• Prior medical assistant or paramedic training .

• Familiarity with high-volume patient service centers.

• Leadership behaviors and process improvement experience.

Required Skills:

• Excellent phlebotomy techniques across all age groups.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong attention to detail and data verification accuracy .

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with specimen processing systems .

• Proficiency in EMR or lab data entry tools.

• Effective communication and patient empathy .

Additional Skills:

• Forensic collection handling

• Customer focus and transparency

• Adaptability to change and organizational needs

• Safe laboratory practices

Shift/Hours:
First Shift — Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
Saturday rotation required.
