Bookkeeper

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support the operations of our Finance Department. This full-time position reports directly to the Controller and plays a key role in ensuring financial accuracy and integrity across the organization.
As the Bookkeeper, you will support daily financial operations, including:
- Processing accounts payable and maintaining vendor records
- Performing bank and general ledger reconciliations
- Assisting with financial reporting
- Ensuring compliance with accounting principles, policies, and regulations
This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position $20/hr - $24/hr (based on qualifications and experience) with an excellent benefits package to include paid sick leave and vacation, generous health insurance contributions, and a 403b retirement match.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Good judgment and discretion in handling sensitive information
- Must be able to pass a background check prior to employment
Education and Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or three to five years experience in a similar role is preferred.
