Senior Data Analyst

Our client, a top-tier Management Consulting firm, is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support enterprise-wide data profiling, quality assessment, and analytical initiatives. This role requires strong SQL expertise, advanced analytical thinking, and a solid understanding of data environments across ETL pipelines, Data Warehouses, and Data Marts. The ideal candidate will partner closely with both business and technology teams to translate complex requirements into actionable, end-to-end data solutions.

Responsibilities and Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Business and Data Analysis
• Proficiency in SQL
• Experience working in Agile teams, including creating business and technical user stories in Jira
• Mortgage domain experience (required)
• Familiarity with command-line operations, including executing Python scripts and navigating log directories to analyze logs
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret disparate data sources, distill complex information, and generate actionable insights
• Ability to translate non-technical business requirements into technical rules or methodologies
• Ability to quickly learn business operations and processes
• Strong communication skills, capable of articulating complex concepts to diverse audiences
• Flexibility and adaptability to adjust plans based on evolving business needs
• Contribute to the buildout of strategic, scalable data platforms in partnership with business and technology stakeholders
• Partner with client analytics teams to understand business-specific data sources, elements, and relationships
• Translate high-level business requirements into complete, end-to-end analytical solutions
• Identify opportunities for advanced analytics and reporting across business‑aligned testing teams
• Collaborate with clients to expand capabilities in machine learning, natural language processing, and automation
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to develop a strong understanding of targeted business areas
• Work closely with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and drive project goals
