Summit Federal Services/Merito Group – Immediate need for Temporary Tradesmen! Norfolk, VA
SFS/Merito Group is seeking a diverse range of skilled tradesmen to join our team and help support the City of Norfolk on both routine and emergency projects. We are currently looking for qualified professionals in the following fields: (Plumbers, Electricians, HVAC Technicians, Automotive Technicians, Bricklayers, Equipment Operators, Painters, Masons, Cooks, and more). If you have expertise in any of these areas, we want to hear from you!
As a key partner in supporting the infrastructure and services of Norfolk, we offer a variety of opportunities to contribute to important public projects.

Responsibilities:
• Perform maintenance, installation, repairs, and troubleshooting for various systems and infrastructure.
• Work on a variety of projects, from routine maintenance to emergency repairs, across different environments such as government buildings, schools, public parks, and more.
• Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, including engineers, project managers, and other tradespeople, to complete projects efficiently.
• Provide high-quality service while maintaining professionalism and excellent customer communication.
• Respond to emergency repair requests promptly and handle unforeseen issues as they arise.

Compensation :
• Compensation will be determined based on your level of experience and the complexity of the job. We offer competitive pay to ensure that your skills and expertise are properly rewarded.

Ideal Candidates:
• Individuals with experience in plumbing, electrical work, HVAC systems, automotive repair, equipment operation, masonry, painting, cooking, and other skilled trades.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• A proactive attitude and the ability to handle high-pressure situations, especially in emergency scenarios.
