Residential Electrician – $20–$25/hr (Lynchburg, VA)

We’re currently seeking an experienced Residential Electrician to join a reputable company right here in Lynchburg, VA. This is a great opportunity for someone skilled in residential electrical work who takes pride in quality craftsmanship, safety, and professionalism.

Pay Rate

$20–$25 per hour

(Depending on experience, certifications, and skill level)

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance in residential homes
• Troubleshoot electrical systems, wiring, outlets, breakers, and fixtures
• Install lighting, receptacles, switches, panels, and other residential components
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and work orders
• Ensure all work meets NEC requirements and adheres to local codes
• Diagnose electrical issues and provide effective solutions
• Communicate professionally with homeowners and team members
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Requirements

• 1+ years of residential electrical experience (more experience preferred)
• Strong knowledge of residential wiring and electrical systems
• Ability to work independently and problem-solve on-site
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in attics, crawl spaces, and various environments
• Strong attention to detail and focus on safety
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Preferred but Not Required

• Virginia Electrical Tradesman or Journeyman license
• Experience interacting with homeowners
• Ability to train or mentor helpers

Schedule

• Monday–Friday
• Full-time hours with potential for overtime based on workload
