Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Electrician who will assist with the management of the Preventive Maintenance program. The role involves scheduling, performing, or overseeing maintenance tasks, and logging their completion electronically. Candidates must perform work safely using the proper tools and personal protective equipment, troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment, review new equipment, manage installation processes, and write equipment-related procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist with management of the Preventive Maintenance program
- Schedule, perform, oversee, and electronically log completion of PMs
- Perform work safely using proper tools and PPE
- Troubleshoot and perform repairs on mechanical equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical and controls equipment including PLCs
- Review and manage installation of new equipment
- Write procedures for equipment monitoring and PMs
- Oversee projects for installations and overhauls
- Mentor less experienced associates
Essential Skills
- Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
- Problem-solving skills with technical background
- Ability to read mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics
- Understanding of Pneumatics and Hydraulics
- Electrical safety knowledge
- Practical understanding of AC/DC motors
- Good judgment, diplomacy, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of OSHA TAGOUT/LOCKOUT procedures
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing production equipment
- 480V and ACDC motor knowledge
- PLC experience and programming preferred
- Strong knowledge of safe operating procedures
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently
- High school level technical degree or greater
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
Work Environment
The work environment is primarily indoors and not climate-controlled, with occasional brief outdoor tasks. The warehouse maintains a comfortable temperature. The position operates on the first shift from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with after-hours work for breakdowns as needed.

The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $72800.00/yr.
