Custodian
Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Salary Minimum: $31,905 annually ($15.34/hour)The County of Henry is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Custodian. This position plays a key role in keeping our facilities clean, safe, and welcoming for employees and visitors alike. What You’ll Be Doing
- Keeping floors clean by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
- Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms (toilets, sinks, and fixtures)
- Emptying trash and taking it to designated disposal areas
- Wiping down and disinfecting surfaces like desks, tables, and windowsills
- Stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing floors
- Restocking supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
- Keeping exterior entryways neat and free of debris
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior custodial experience
