Google Workspace Administrator

job summary:
Our client is seeking a versatile Google Workspace Administrator to join their Enterprise Systems team. This role is primarily focused on supporting Mergers & Acquisitions. Ensuring that newly acquired business units are integrated smoothly into the core corporate environment.

work hours: 8am to 5pm

responsibilities:
Platform Management: Perform general administration of the Google Workspace environment, including Gmail, Drive, and security settings.

Identity & Access: Manage the centralized identity provider (Okta) to facilitate seamless "Day 1" access for acquired employees and maintain ongoing user lifecycle automation.

Cloud Infrastructure Support: Assist in managing user permissions and basic resource allocation within AWS and GCP environments.

System Automation: Develop and maintain scripts to handle bulk administrative actions, custom reporting, and automated data cleanup.

Security & Governance: Monitor and enforce corporate security policies (DLP, Vault, MFA) across all integrated platforms.

qualifications:
3+ years in a Systems Administration or Identity-focused role.

Strong troubleshooting skills related to mail routing, DNS, and cloud-to-cloud integrations.
