We are seeking a Front Office Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.
Full Time Monday- Thursday 645am-515pm
Responsibilities:
Greet patients and direct them accordingly as needed.
Register Patients. Ensure all information is accurate and up to date.
Process referrals.
Electronic Scheduling/Book appointments.
Collecting money over the counter.
Medical record requests.
Sending invoices for payment to accounts payable. (patient billing statements)
End of day balancing and reporting; balancing petty cash.
Faxing and Filing and performing any other duties assigned.
Following OSHA guidelines
Maintaining a professional and therapeutic environment
Requirements:
Team player attitude, energetic, with a focus on excellent customer service are key.
Must be a self-starter with strong organizational skills.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields
- Familiarity with medical billing procedures
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
