Full-Time Personal Care AssistantScheduleMonday - Friday: 1:00 AM - 9:00 AMPersonal & Daily Living SupportProvide compassionate, hands-on assistance to individuals in their home or community setting.Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility support. Support meal planning and preparation according to dietary needs and preferences. Provide light housekeeping related to the individuals care, such as laundry and maintaining a safe living environment. Offer companionship and emotional support to promote overall well-being.Independence & Quality of LifeEncourage independence and participation in daily routines and preferred activities. Support individuals in maintaining their dignity, privacy, and personal choices. Assist with medication reminders as directed. Promote a safe, clean, and supportive environment at all times.Community & EngagementAssist with transportation to appointments, errands, or community activities as needed. Support social engagement and inclusion in community settings. Adapt support approaches based on individual needs and care plans.Documentation & ComplianceMaintain accurate, timely documentation of care provided. Follow all agency policies, safety standards, and care guidelines. Report any changes in condition or concerns to supervisors promptly.Teamwork & CommunicationCommunicate effectively with supervisors, family members, and healthcare professionals as appropriate.Participate in required trainings and staff meetings.Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times.QualificationsEducation: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain prior to hire).Clearances: Must pass background checks and required health screenings.Experience:Previous experience in personal care, home care, or supporting individuals with disabilities or seniors preferred.Relevant life experience considered.Skills:Compassionate, patient, and dependable.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and follow care plans.Schedule & Physical RequirementsFull-time position; schedule may include evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.Ability to stand, walk, and assist with mobility for extended periods.Ability to lift, transfer, or reposition individuals as required.Join Our TeamIf you are dependable, caring, and committed to helping others live with dignity and independence, we invite you to apply for our Full-Time Personal Care Assistant position.
