Manage patients with chronic disease like diabetes, hypertension, asthma, COPD and CHF
Make referrals to Specialists like: Cardiology, Pulmonology, Endocrinology, etc., when necessary Annual Physical Exams Womens Health Annual Exams
Acute/Same day appointments Athena (user friendly EMR)Requirements of the opportunity:
Completed Masters Degree as NP with Family Medicine emphasis
Virginia State Medical License
DEA Comfort with Pelvic/Pap exam
Ability to function in a fast-paced environment with strength in EMR note taking
Adherence to Medicare and Medicaid billing/coding guidelines
CPR/BCLS Certified
Quality Focused and in an Accountable Care Organization
Prior experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner is preferred Benefits:
