Position Title: Informatica Developer
Location: Reston, VA (Hybrid 4 Days)
Duration: 12+ Months with possible extension up to 24 Months

Job Description:

• Develop and maintain financial software applications.
• Work closely with the finance team to understand their needs and translate them into functional software.
• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.
• Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products. 8-10 years

• Client is seeking a highly skilled Informatica Developer to join client’s Enterprise Data team.
• This role is focused on supporting and enhancing Data Warehouse applications, with Informatica PowerCenter as the core ETL tool.
• The ideal candidate will also have strong experience in AWS development, Python programming, and containerization using Docker.
• Familiarity with orchestration tools like Autosys and MWAA (Managed Workflows for Apache Airflow) is expected.
• This position requires participation in an on-call rotation for production support and strong experience in testing ETL workflows, data validation, and ensuring data quality across large-scale pipelines.

• 7 plus years of experience in data engineering or ETL development, with deep expertise in Informatica PowerCenter.
• Experience in Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC).
• Experience in PowerCenter to IDMC migration is a plus.
• Proven experience in AWS cloud services, including EMR, ECS, Glue, Redshift, SNS, SQS, Lambda, CloudWatch, and S3.
• Strong proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
• Experience supporting Data Warehouse environments and large-scale data pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Docker for containerized development and deployment.
• Experience in testing ETL workflows, including unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, and data reconciliation.
• Ability to design and execute test cases for data validation, performance testing, and error handling in ETL processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong verbal & written communication.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working in Agile development environments, including participation in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotation for production support. 24/7 for 1 week per month

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with Redshift, Postgres, Oracle databases.
• Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, and build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
• Experience with GitHub Copilot or other GenAI tools (preferred).
• Experience with Alteryx is a plus.
• Experience contributing to Agile ceremonies and using tools like Jira for story tracking and defect management.
• Experience with Redwood orchestration and workflow management is a plus.

• Max Rate is $110/hr to client, unless your Rate Card is set below that, in which case you must adhere to your Rate Card.

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
