Location : Richmond, VA

Salary/Pay Rate : $35 - $45 per hour. Up to $15,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available on a case-by-case basis.

Schedule : Full-time, Nights (Rotating Weekends)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are in search of a compassionate and highly skilled Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care within our 12-suite labor and delivery unit. In this vital role, you will be the guide for mothers and their newborns, delivering direct nursing care throughout their stay. You will be a key member of a multidisciplinary team, including obstetricians, perinatologists, anesthesiologists, and lactation consultants, all working together to support the mother and her partner. Your responsibilities will include providing patient-centered care, offering education to patients and families, and meticulously monitoring, recording, and communicating patient conditions using advanced computerized documentation systems, all while upholding an awareness of cultural and diversity needs.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current Registered Nurse License in Virginia or a Current Multistate Compact License
• 1 year of nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Current American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS or BCLS) Certification

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• 1 year of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• An eagerness to cross-train from other units is highly valued
