As a **Security Professional - Armed Tech/Media Security Clearance** in **Manassas, VA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will conduct regular patrols and maintain a strong presence at a leading technology location. This position involves carrying a firearm and using your skills to help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. **What You'll Do:**
+ Provide outstanding customer service to clients and visitors while following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation skills as needed.
+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
+ Maintain a visible presence and help to deter security-related incidents within a technology, media, and telecommunications environment.
+ Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to prevent unauthorized access and/or activities.
+ Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents and observations.
+ Assist with emergency response activities, following established protocols and supporting first responders as directed.
+ Prepare detailed incident reports and documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
+ Remain alert and aware of surroundings at all times to help to identify potential risks and/or suspicious behavior.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Possess an armed guard card or license.
+ Possess an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
+ Be at least 21 years of age.
+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
