**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and protocols, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
+ Monitor access points and verify identification of individuals entering restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized entry.
+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and observations as required by site protocols.
+ Communicate and cooperate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when necessary.
+ Operate and maintain assigned security-related equipment, including radios, surveillance systems, and firearms, in accordance with site guidelines and Allied Universal procedures.
+ Stay informed of site-specific procedures, policies, and any changes relevant to the assigned location.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
+ An armed guard card or license is required.
+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
