Location: Virginia Beach
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday (no evenings or weekends!)
Reports To:  Practice Manager

What You’ll Do

• Assist the pediatric dentist during all clinical procedures

• Help little patients feel calm, safe, and confident during their visit

• Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain OSHA/HIPAA compliance

• Take diagnostic images (X-rays, photos, iTero scans) as needed

• Educate patients and parents on brushing, flossing, and oral health habits

• Maintain accurate patient records in Dentrix Ascend (experience a plus)

• Support a smooth daily flow through teamwork, efficiency, and communication

Who You Are

• Energetic, positive, and love working with children

• Experienced as a dental assistant (pediatric experience a big plus , but not required — we’ll train the right fit!)

• Certified in dental radiography (or willing to obtain)

• Dependable, detail-oriented, and a great communicator

• Calm under pressure, caring under stress, and always ready to lend a hand
