Project Consultant- Business Operations Analyst

Our Deloitte Finance Transformation team practices to help chief financial officers, controllers, and finance teams define and execute their finance and global business services agendas and strategies. You will work with leading-class teams and solutions, helping clients navigate challenging environments, market uncertainty, technology development, and regulatory considerations to unlock value. Your work may span strategy, operations, process design, and technology as we partner with clients to transform finance.

Work you'll do

As a PROJECT - Consultant, Finance Managed Services on the Finance Managed Services team, you will be responsible for...

• Supporting delivery of finance managed services activities across core finance processes
• Executing day-to-day finance operations, including analysis, reconciliation, reporting, and process support
• Using enterprise platforms and reporting tools to complete assigned work, track outputs, and maintain documentation
• Identifying process issues, supporting resolution activities, and escalating risks, exceptions, or delays as needed
• Collaborating with client stakeholders and internal teams to support service delivery, reporting needs, and operational objectives

Qualifications

Required :

• Bachelor's degree
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph eligibility required
• Ability to work on-site in Huntsville, AL up to 5 days per week
• 2+ years of experience in finance operations, finance transformation, shared services, or managed services
• 2+ years of experience supporting accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, record-to-report, order-to-cash, or procure-to-pay processes
• 1+ years of experience using enterprise resource planning platforms such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Workday
• 1+ years of experience preparing reconciliations, reports, or financial analyses
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred:

• Certified Public Accountant or Chartered Accountant credential
• Experience supporting finance managed services delivery in a consulting or professional services environment
• Experience creating process documentation, standard operating procedures, or control documentation
• Experience with dashboards, service level reporting, or key performance indicators
• Experience supporting finance system implementation, optimization, or stabilization activities
• Experience working with stakeholders across finance and operations functions
