CTR Group is hiring Steel Fluxcore Welders - Shop Welding, for a Metal Fabrication Shop in the Hampton, VA, area:
Pay Range: $28 - $32 per Hour plus Benefits.
SUMMARY:
We are currently seeking skilled Steel Flux Core Welders. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise in crafting large structural fixtures for the US Navy and various industries in a work environment that is team-oriented, supportive, and focused on quality.
Responsibilities:
- Read and comprehend blueprints, sketches, and templates.
- Efficient with cutting torches, burning, and plasma torches.
- Clean and prepare surfaces to be welded.
- Follow instructions and act independently.
Requirements:
- Must pass a FLUX CORE weld test.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of welding experience in the fabrication industry.
- Proficient in steel Fluxcore welding.
