What You Need to Succeed

• A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of a recognized Nurse Practitioner program

Required Credentials

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Virginia
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or an equivalent
• Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - or the readiness to obtain them within 90 days
