Control Room Operator

Control Room Operator Location Arlington, VA (Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport area) :

Eastern Industrial Maintenance is looking for a Control Room Operator with basic mechanical skills to work at Reagan Washington National Airport.

This individual will be responsible for:

• Dispatching mechanics to resolve bag jams and other repair issues, as required.
• Answer phones and enter work orders into the CMMS system.
• Run operation reports and provide recommendations to improve efficiency/productivity.

• Comply with the company safety program and training
• Perform other duties as assigned or needed.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment is similar to airport operation with vehicular traffic. The employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, cold, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid Driver's License
• 2+ years of related experience in customer service or dispatching
• 2+ years of related experience with data entry and scheduling workloads, and processing work orders
• Basic mechanical skills
• Experience with BAS Monitoring Systems preferred
• Attention to detail
• Patient demeanor
• Reliable
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to be badged to work in secure areas of an airport
• Ability to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift including weekends and holidays
