Insurance Rating Specialist (Non-Licensed)

Responsibilities

What You'll Do Day-to-Day

• Provide front-line customer service support by answering inquiries, resolving policy errors, managing high-priority rush requests, and staying current on compliance and workflow updates.
• Determine risk premiums and handle the timely, accurate issuance of policies, quotes, endorsements, cancellations, and rewrites using both automated and manual methods.
• Utilize specialized tools and software—including POS, PMS, ACT, Policy Creator, Microsoft Excel, and iBank
• Collaborate directly with Underwriters, Underwriting Technicians, and Team Leads to interpret instructions, resolve discrepancies, and ensure a seamless product delivered to agents and insureds.

What You'll Bring to the Table

• 2+ years of relevant insurance industry experience. (preferred)
• Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and an ability to quickly learn proprietary rating platforms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
