Position: Data Analysis Consultant

LinkVisum Consulting is seeking a Data Analysis Consultant to support the design, development, and delivery of an interactive dashboard using Microsoft Power BI. The consultant will be responsible for analyzing and transforming data from multiple sources, defining metrics and KPIs, and ensuring that insights are clearly and accurately represented in the final dashboard. This position requires a minimum of eight (8+) years of experience performing analysis in areas of data analysis and database implementation. The candidate must possess knowledge of data structures, design, views and data dictionaries. Candidate must perform functions in the collection and analysis of data to support project objective.

Specific tasks include the following

• Analyze and interpret data from multiple sources (e.g., databases, spreadsheets, cloud platforms) to support dashboard development.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and refine business requirements, KPIs, and reporting objectives.
• Clean, transform, and validate data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
• Design and build data models optimized for Power BI reporting and performance.
• Develop calculated measures and columns using DAX as needed.
• Support the creation of interactive Power BI dashboards and reports, ensuring clarity, usability, and alignment with business needs.
• Perform data quality checks and troubleshoot data discrepancies.
• Provide documentation (e.g. data dictionary) and knowledge transfer related to data sources, models, metrics, and assumptions.
• Support user testing, feedback incorporation, and final dashboard deployment.

The candidate must meet the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree Required
• Must be a US Citizen
• Proven experience as a data analyst or data consultant supporting BI or dashboard projects.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI, including data modeling and DAX.
• Solid understanding of data analysis concepts, KPIs, and business reporting.
• Experience working with relational databases and SQL.
• Ability to translate business questions into analytical approaches and visual insights.
• Ability to review and analyze data and information from multiple sources
• Exposure to different ETL and integration tools
• Experience with Entity Relationship and Dimensional Database Modeling
