Database Administration/Database Specialist
Program Overview
About The Role
The JFMPO coordinates and maintains visibility of foreign materiel requirements, acquisitions, and exploitation efforts across various DoD entities. This program is crucial for supporting test and evaluation, warfighter training, and the development of threat surrogates by leveraging intelligence data and actual foreign systems.
Peraton supports the prime contractor in developing, implementing, and supporting the a cloud-based JFMED database program and is currently seeking a Database Administrator
Duties include but not limited to:
- Performing data analysis, database design, development activities, and implementation for databases and database conversions
- Rendering highly technical expertise and guidance in the design, implementation, operation and maintenance of database management systems (DBMS)
- Developing and testing logical and physical database designs via database design and implementation process
- Evaluating and recommending available DBMS products after matching requirements with system capabilities
- Managing the compliance to all required database administration procedures, standards, and guidelines
- Executing projects/programs with similar requirements as IDEA PWS paragraphs.
NOTE: Occassional telework available, but must be local to the jobsite.
Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of a Top Secret clearance and willing to upgrade clearance to TS/SCI and sit for and pass a polygraph within 30 days of employment or at customers request- Contract requires TS/SCI with poly.
- 9 years of experience w/o a BS/BA, 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA
- 1+ years of experience w/database management
- 1+ years of experience w/data analysis
SCA / Union / Intern Rate or Range
Details
Target Salary Range: $80,000 - $128,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
