AMTS is adding to our Cleanroom Build Division in Manassas, VA . We are hiring Cleanroom Carpenter to join our team! Ideal candidates will be experienced in all aspects of carpentry as well as drywall installation, floor tiles, walls and ceilings, cleanroom installation and/or cabinetry work.

ISO/Cleanroom experience is highly preferred.

The individual will provide the day-to-day leadership necessary to direct materials, equipment, and installers in the cleanroom construction project. This includes input on estimates, schedules and quality control during the project pre-construction and construction phases. The Cleanroom Carpenter will ensure best practices in field operations to guarantee timely completion of projects, quality control and success of the project. The Cleanroom Carpenter should have a background in all aspects of cleanroom construction and be willing to travel as required for projects.

• Responsible for meeting or improving project schedules
• Conducts necessary meetings with customer for project review and ensures meetings are documented
• Is responsible for on-site quality control, fit and finish
• Manages and coordinates subcontractor activities on site
• Conducts weekly/daily job safety meetings
• Tracks subcontractor labor through daily sign in sheets
• Develops punch lists with customer
• Is responsible for drawing mark-up for as-built drawings
• Solves coordination and construction problems in the field

Position Requirements :

• Excellent organizational and communication skills, both oral and written
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
• Can demonstrate knowledge of construction process and job coordination by job-related experience
• Assist with the installation of cleanroom assembly and components
• Previous experience in carpentry, maintenance, or other related fields
• Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
• Ability to handle physical workload
