**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using appropriate judgment and communication skills.
+ Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
+ Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
+ Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal procedures.
+ Collaborate with site personnel and local law enforcement as required in emergency situations and/or during incidents.
+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to employees and visitors at the location.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
