Job Type: Full-Time | Onsite

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Home Architect to join a collaborative and creative team specializing in custom home design and residential architecture . This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about designing beautiful, functional homes, possess strong technical expertise, and enjoy working closely with clients from concept through construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom home architectural projects from concept through construction documentation.
• Prepare high-quality drawings and construction documents using Revit and BIM workflows.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal team members throughout the design process.
• Apply strong knowledge of structural systems, building principles, and construction methods.
• Coordinate project documentation and ensure compliance with applicable building codes and standards.
• Participate in design presentations and contribute creative design solutions.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented studio environment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited university.
• 5–15 years of experience in custom home or residential architecture .
• Proficiency in Revit and experience working with BIM technology.
• Strong understanding of residential construction, detailing, and structural concepts.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and client relationship skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Charlottesville, VA or relocate before the start date.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with high-end or luxury home projects.
• Familiarity with interior residential design.
• Strong hand sketching and 3D visualization skills.
• Knowledge of additional architectural visualization tools such as Lumion is a plus.
